We made it - post Christmas

Well, after many ups and downs from Sunday 12/21 when our flight was canceled, until about 5:30pm EST on Friday 12/26 when we LANDED in Ohio....let's just say we didn't let mother nature stop us after all. We re-purchased tickets on Christmas day and flew to Ohio on the 26th.....besides me (Barb) forgetting my Drivers License (yes you can fly w/o it) and almost missing our first flight...the travel was perfectly smooth and Jack gets an A++++ for this one.

He sat in his car seat like a good little 1.75 year old, listening to music....



snacking a lot and ensuring his lamby was fed too.



We arrived to my parents at about 6:30pm EST and walked into their open house party...everyone knew we were coming except Whit and Brian. They were both VERY surprised and I think it is safe to say it was top on the list of highlights for them this Christmas =)

And, the main reason we made this happen finally....was to see these two together. Joey and Jack were so cute together, they definitely look related! They were so much fun, we can't wait for the fun times ahead:












Before Whit and Brian had to leave, we went out for a drinks while the two little guys stayed home with Grammy & Grandpa, I know they wish they could have them to themselves a LOT more often than they do....and so do we =)





Below shows how beautiful my mom makes it in their home for Christmas. It is the most festive, fun, relaxing place to be around the holidays.

Thank you Mom for making Christmas dinner #2 since we were 5 days late....and for all the other millions of things you did for us!

Thank you Dad too! Especially for going to the airport 4x in 7 days and for helping to coordinate the surprise attack when we arrived =) We love you!
