The window boxes are looking pretty with the color from the petunias and in between I planted some everygreen shrubs, they too will get some flowers on them late summer but will stay green in the winter so it isn't as drab as it was in the past (I hope).
Peonies - They are getting really tall this year so I put tomato cages around them to keep them from falling over, one is starting to flower as of today.
Here is part of the mound....the blue fescue grasses we planted 3 years ago are doing well and on the top right up from the grasses there is one of the Lavender plants from Aunt Barb..she gave us 3 when Jack was born and they too have grown a lot!
Here is another one of the Lavender plants - wanted to take this for Aunt Barb to see! The rosemary next to this was also HUGE and I cut it way back and am sure it'll boom back this summer.
And the Hostas - these are just the ones along the back path in the backyard, we have more but these are HUGE now. They are 3 or 4 years old and are just crazy big. Maybe the miracle grow plant food helps a little (ha!)....
Sofie loves it under this one.
