Introducing Ryan Joseph Reilly

Well......planned c-section was changed as Ryan decided to arrive on 10-01-2010, 10 days before his due date and 5 days before his scheduled delivery. I went in to labor on Thursday 9/30 at 11pm or so at home. I wasn't quite sure if it was labor or not because with Jack I never had any labor signs at all. By 3am I knew this was it, we called our friend Maureen at 4:15am, she was here by 5am and Bill and I were on the way to the hospital.

Once we checked in, they verified this was labor, I still opted for the c-section and Ryan was born at 7:30am! He weighed in at 8lbs 4oz and 20 inches long. Quite big for 10 days early. His big brother Jack stayed inside for about 18 more days and was born at 10lbs....I am quite sure if Ryan had been in there for another 18 days he too would have been quite large!

Big Brother Jack...came to visit around 6pm on the day Ryan was born, he was very proud and happy to finally see his little brother we had been talking about for months:
