Let the Christmas baking begin

I (Barb obviously) have a list of 3 baking projects I want to do for Christmas....it includes Traditional Decorated Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread houses and Cake Pops. All of which will be group projects including Jackie Pants....except the Cake Pops I'm doing alone.

Project #1 has started - Cake Pops:

Cake Pops are in thanks to my friend Jill who introduced me to these delicious and adorable little creations. I made my first round today which are Chocolate on the inside with a mint chocolate coating finished with sugar sprinkles. I think for my first stab these turned out pretty good, yet I can see where I will make changes for my next round.....and this is where an obsession begins!



Notice the Vodka bottles in the freezer...next time maybe I should have a stiff drink while doing my next round of pops.
