I wish I could say I grew these myself....but they are coming from about 20 miles east from a farm. I signed up for 26 weeks of a vegetable CSA program. I love it, every week it is getting better and better. I like to see what goodies I get each week and we are sure eating veggies I never have served before......and more of them.
These beets were so beautiful. When I cut into them, they were striped. They are SO SWEET! I have never had a beet that is so sweet. Jacky even tasted them.
My loot for the week. I wonder if you can use the leafy part of the fennel? Not sure, going to look that up today. I definitely use the whole beet, greens and all ;)
